North Alabama’s growing momentum is not slowing down anytime soon! October has brought some long-awaited businesses to our booming city of Huntsville and the surrounding areas. Check out the list below for new businesses calling North Alabama home!
Trader Joe’s
This one is a very long-awaited grocery store for Huntsvillians. Citizens have been asking for the store to come to Huntsville since before 2010. The grand opening earlier this month, echoed the sentiment with a packed store and smiling faces all around. You can get your fill of unique and interesting products, along with everyday basics in the new and exciting Mid City district on University drive. During the fall season, check out their great selection of pumpkins and mums!
Cheesecake Factory
With restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory in town, it’s hard for Huntsville’s citizens to not burst with pride at our growing city. The well-loved chain boasts a lengthy menu and everyone’s favorite slices of cheesecake. You can find the Cheesecake Factory across from P.F. Chang’s at Bridge Street Town Centre.
Church St. Wine Shoppe
If you’ve walked around downtown lately, you may have stumbled on a historic house with charming white cloth-covered tables set out on the front porch. Church Street Wine Shoppe on Gates is now open in the historic Humphreys–Rodgers House at 102 Gates Ave SW. They serve tapas, charcuterie, wine flights, lunch, dinner, and soon, brunch at this new location. It’s located inside the downtown Huntsville entertainment district so you can even grab some wine to go and enjoy walking around downtown.
Margaritaville
Yes, it is still in the works! A major win for our area, Margaritaville Hotel is coming to Town Madison. The hotel will be located next to the baseball stadium over the center-field wall. The 150-room full-service hotel will boast several signature food and beverage concepts, a Margaritaville-branded retail store, a water park, and more. The build was delayed due to COVID, but construction is in fact still underway. Talk about a staycation!
