Nothing beats a good cup of coffee or a tasty lunch! Huntsville is full of so many options that it is hard to narrow them down to just a few.
Gold Sprint Coffee
Whether you view coffee as a way to stay caffeinated or as an opportunity to connect with a friend, Gold Sprint Coffee is Liz’s go-to coffee spot in Huntsville. Gold Sprint is located close to Lowe Mill and Downtown Huntsville. Their menu features something for everyone from plain black coffee and lattes to unique drinks like the Galaxy Latte – a colorful butterfly tea and dragon fruit latte. Not in the mood for coffee? Gold Sprint also offers a great selection of craft beers, cocktails, and even breakfast burritos – perfect for any time of the day!
Earth & Stone Pizza @ Campus 805
Who doesn’t love pizza? Earth & Stone Pizza @ Campus 805 will always be a favorite. Starting in a food truck in 2013, Earth & Stone Pizza has made a name for itself as having the best wood-fired pizzas in Huntsville!
While they have multiple locations, the location at Campus 805 features not only a wide variety of pizzas but they share a roof with Yellowhammer Brewing craft beers. They also serve homemade ice cream made with locally sourced ingredients.

Date night is the perfect excuse to try something new. Fortunately, Huntsville is full of great places to take your special someone!
Big Spring Park
Where do you go when inspiration is lacking? Big Spring Park! This beautiful green space in nestled in downtown Huntsville and features events, festivals, and concerts throughout the year making it a perfect date night destination. Looking for a more serene experience? Enjoy some fresh air as you roam over 12 acres of land complete with beautiful cherry trees, the famous red bridge, and countless geese, ducks, and koi.
Nick’s Ristorante
There’s something to be said for a fancy meal on the town! Nick’s Ristorante is Liz’s go-to date night dinner spot. Their menu features a great selection of steaks, Italian cuisine, and seafood – complete with traditional Italian desserts and delectable drinks.
Nick’s dedication to using only the highest-quality ingredients is evident in each dish. Not quite ready to head home just yet? Head over to the lounge to enjoy a cocktail, cigar, and live entertainment!
Cotton Row
Located in Courthouse Square, Cotton Row offers an elegant dining experience! They offer a rotating menu – allowing the chef to focus on unique dishes that feature fresh, seasonal ingredients.
