Whether you are visiting Huntsville on vacation, just moved to the area, or a lifetime resident, there are countless hidden gems that make our city unique. Either off the beaten path or simply underrated, there are many local restaurants, attractions, and entertainment venues that do not receive the attention they deserve!

Jamo’s Cafe
With hundreds of 5-star Google ratings, it is no secret that Jamo’s Cafe is one of the many hidden gems of Huntsville! Located on Jordan Lane in Huntsville, Jamo’s Cafe serves up a delicious selection of fresh Mediterranean favorites. Regardless of what you order, you will taste the love that goes into each dish served at Jamo’s Cafe. With Mediterranean classics such as gyros, kabobs, and falafel, as well as burgers and salads, everyone can find something tasty to enjoy. Jamo’s Cafe offers delivery, takeout, or dine-in options – they even have a nice outdoor patio allowing you to enjoy a delicious meal in
the fresh air.

Campus 805
Once a vacant building, Huntsville’s Stone Middle School was transformed into Campus 805. This unique destination offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and breweries as well as entertainment! One of our favorite Huntsville restaurants, Earth & Stone Pizza serves their delicious wood-fired pizzas from their location at Campus 805. In addition to pizza, visitors will find a great selection of outdoor eating spaces, live entertainment, retail spaces, and unique features such as a brewery located in the old
gymnasium of the middle school! One of the greatest hidden gems of Huntsville? The speakeasy that is hidden behind the old lockers that line the hallway of the old school.

Clinton Row Color Walk
While Huntsville has plenty of artwork displayed in museums and galleries, one of the most exciting art displays is found in what was once a dark alley! A trip to Clinton Avenue East in downtown Huntsville will lead you to an ever-changing display of artwork created by local artists. Nearly every day you will find a new artist adding their unique style of the alley, creating the perfect backdrop for those Instagram photos. Because the selection of artwork in the Clinton Row Colorwalk is constantly changing, even longtime residents of Hunstillve will find something new to look at!

Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment
Another cleverly renovated space unique to Huntsville is the Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment center. Having served many purposes over the years including producing boots for soldiers during the Vietnam War, Lowe Mill is now home to entertainment spaces, art galleries, restaurants, breweries, retail spaces, and more! While Lowe Mill may not be considered a hidden gem in and of itself, there are many hidden gems that call Lowe Mill home! Take a step back in time by visiting this historic building and
experiencing many of the things that make Huntsville unique.

The Camp
Located in MidCity, you may not think much of this collection of shipping containers. The Camp, however, is certainly one of the most unique hidden gems of Huntsville. This outdoor attraction provides a cool vibe in a casual atmosphere. Enjoy local food trucks, drinks, and even coffee served out of a shipping container while listening to live entertainment. Next time you are
in MidCity, be sure to stop by The Camp to enjoy one of the most eclectic attractions in Huntsville.

These are, of course, just a few of the many local treasures found in Huntsville. With restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and small businesses opening every day, this list only continues to grow with each passing year!
